Introduction
OUR VISION
The lower secondary school plays a decisive role in the educational journey of young people. It must guide the transformation of children, who are completing primary school, into prepared and aware adolescents.
These three years are ORIENTING, but they are part of a pre-established path for high school. Students should be able to challenge themselves to discover their talents and limits, in order to freely and consciously choose their future path.
The main goal of our school is to prepare a well-rounded individual, that is, a citizen motivated to engage consciously in civil society and capable of making informed decisions, both in life and professionally. The students are the true protagonists of the school; therefore, the skills and attention of teachers and educators should be directed towards meeting their developmental and educational needs.
The sports section offers a path of sports practice, with an increased number of hours, instead of choosing a second language as an extension of our educational offer.
From a didactic point of view, the educational path will always be bilingual, but it will be possible to follow and experiment with different sports and disciplines throughout the three years of middle school.
The school is part of the network of Italian middle schools offering a sports experiment program.

Throughout the three years, students will certify their language skills by taking internationally recognized exams.
The following chart compares the teaching hours in Italian versus foreign languages and the sports practiced.
Goals
The educational objectives focus on the skills acquired in both subjects taught in English and Italian.
Our school aims to foster the development of passions through reason, as the ability to understand and appreciate the meaning of things, encouraging everyone to exercise their freedom and initiative.
A school attentive to the growth of each individual must have a highly flexible didactic and organizational approach.
The sports section will also allow students to practice new sports and disciplines, in addition to following an educational path related to sportsmanship and fair play.
Matter
The subjects follow the same Italian and British curriculum
Opportunity
Throughout their academic journey, our students have the opportunity to follow lessons and educational projects that are essential for their growth and well-being, as well as for their future orientation.
At the end of the school path, it is possible to continue at our school, choosing either the international curriculum or the sports scientific high school track.
Organization
Students are entitled to:
• Adequate time for personal study.
• A schedule that allows them to review and fully grasp the topics covered in class.
• A schedule that facilitates retention through repetition, practice, and reworking of the content.
• An OPEN SCHOOL that ensures the presence of teachers, available during afternoon hours to engage with students in moments of revision, recovery, or enhancement of subjects.
• Cafeteria: students have lunch at school with their teachers, and it is possible to follow special diets for certified reasons.
• Optional in-depth and consolidation workshops (study hall).
Our typical day is structured as follows:
Diploma
Our young Sipers earn both the Italian and British diplomas at the end of their schooling cycle. They then have the opportunity to continue their international educational journey.
Visit the credits page to read about the results our students have achieved in the INVALSI tests, with an average significantly higher than the regional and national benchmarks, and in the British diploma exams, in English and Mathematics, where they achieved an average score above the international average.
Well done!
Experiences
Study trips have a strong educational and didactic value and are closely linked to the annual curriculum. Every year, students are offered at least two experiences abroad at partner schools.
