Introduction
The International School is a recognized institution, meaning our high schools are part of the national education system. Thanks to a team of qualified and skilled teachers, the state exam is managed internally with a graduation commission appointed by the Ministry of Education (MIM).
In the first two years, all students will follow both the national and international curriculum. Starting from the third year of high school, students will have the option to choose the national curriculum with enhanced English. The same principle applies in the case of transferring from another public or private school, contingent upon passing an entrance test, depending on the chosen high school track.

FOREIGN LANGUAGES
All curricular activities conducted in foreign languages are taught by qualified teachers, some of whom are native English speakers, in compliance with current educational regulations.
- For the linguistic high school, the curricular languages are: Italian, English, Spanish, and German or French
- For the human sciences high school with an economic-social option, the curricular languages are: Italian, English, and Spanish
- For the scientific and scientific-sports high school, the curricular languages are: Italian and English
Other languages are available through optional afternoon courses.

Goals
The educational objectives differ based on the required high school path. As for the teaching and the number of hours dedicated to English language instruction, there is no difference between students following the international path and those following the regular curriculum. The latter are given the opportunity to attend classes with the same intensity and passion to achieve excellent results.

Matter
Students in the linguistic high school can choose to participate in Maths, Science, or History courses from the Humanities curriculum classes and continue their studies aimed at obtaining the Italian high school diploma.

Opportunity
OPTIONAL CLASSES - CAMBRIDGE IGCSE
We are a Cambridge International School. This educational standard also allows students in our state-recognized high schools to participate in optional courses leading to IGCSEs, if they do not wish to pursue the AS & A LEVEL. Specifically, a student enrolled in the linguistic high school can attend classes in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, or Global Perspectives from the other international curriculum courses and continue their studies aimed at obtaining the Italian high school diploma.

UNIVERSITY PROSPECTS IN ITALY
With the high school diploma issued by the Licei of the Scuola Internazionale di Pavia, students can access all university faculties. Additionally, thanks to the courses followed during the three years, the student will also improve their mathematical-scientific skills in English.

Diploma
We are a paritary school, and the state exam takes place within our institution. With the state diploma issued by the Linguistic High School of the International School of Pavia, students can access all university faculties. However, thanks to the courses taught in English, during their academic journey, students will enhance their mathematical and scientific skills in both English and Italian.

Experiences
Study trips have a strong educational and didactic value and are closely linked to the annual curriculum. Every year, students are offered at least two experiences abroad at partner schools.
