Scuola Internazionale di Pavia
Inclusive school

In order to apply such an ambitious program in a homogeneous way, a theory and therefore a methodology is needed that recognizes the value of the uniqueness of the individual, that gives importance to personality characteristics and therefore a school is needed that is able to promote synergies between the teaching staff and families and that places at the center not only the cultural and physical, but also the psychological evolution of the students. We were inspired for this by the educational concepts of Alfred Adler. The theory he enunciated refers to the respect of children's psychological development, uses the need to learn, innate in each of us, curiosity as a tool for observing reality and gives value to the concept of encouragement. Perhaps nothing can explain our intent better than Adler's words: This is adolescence: to demonstrate that you are no longer a child. And the best educators are those who expect nothing for themselves; neither thanks nor rewards for their efforts.

The EDUCATOR fixes in the soul of the adolescent the image of an adult to whom he can make every confidence without any reserve; an image that will be transmitted from one generation to the next, to infinity".

We believe it is also valid for us and for our project.
