International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

Every year, on November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is recognised. To raise awareness and sensitize the public on the topic, even with a small gesture, our Sipers wore red, the color symbolizing this day in solidarity with the victims of domestic violence and femincide. In addition students participated in a lecture addressing the topic of language and violence presented by Dr Chiara Portesan where they were able to confront an argument which is very relevant for our SIPers today, words can hurt as much as hands.
